As an aspiring social media coordinator in Atlanta, I am passionate about leveraging creativity, strategic problem-solving, and relationship-building to drive impactful online engagement. I seek an employer that values diversity, encourages professional growth, and fosters a healthy work/life balance.

My background as a visual merchandiser and manager in design-focused retail has equipped me with a keen eye for aesthetics and effective communication strategies. I've successfully created visually compelling displays that not only attract customers but also provide innovative solutions tailored to client needs. This experience has honed my ability to craft engaging and cohesive digital content.

I aim to create social media experiences that are engaging, informative, and easy to navigate. To achieve this, I utilize my skills in content creation, audience analysis, and digital marketing, paired with a creative mindset. I am dedicated and loyal, eager to work for a company that respects and values its employees.

Based in Georgia and living in the vibrant city of Atlanta, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, discovering new experiences, and exploring hidden gems in the city. I earned my bachelor's in Arts from Georgia State University and furthered my design expertise through a 12-month UX Design program with CareerFoundry.

During my studies at Georgia State University, I was fortunate enough to partake in a study abroad program based in Florence, Italy, for a spring semester. As a result, I could travel across Europe to different countries and immerse myself in history and culture. Growing up, my family and I often spent summer vacations abroad; however, my independence as a young adult gave me a newfound love and appreciation for everything the world offers. I showed that appreciation through another passion of mine; photography.

Along with photography, another passion of mine is diving. I first started my diving journey by wanting to conquer one of my fears, thalassophobia, meaning an intense fear of deep water. After all the necessary training and tests, I completed my open water PADI dive at the world-renowned Jean-Michael Cousteau Diving Center in Petit St. Vincent, Grenadines. The entire process was enriching and made me more eager to continue trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone.

I am also passionate about mental health advocacy and have dedicated my personal time to supporting this vital cause. As a volunteer with the SAM Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Awareness, I have had the privilege of working with a dedicated team to promote mental health awareness, provide support, and prevent suicide through education and outreach.

In my role, I managed the SAM Foundation's social media channels, developing and implementing impactful campaigns that raised awareness about mental health issues and connected individuals with the resources they need. I assisted in organizing their Sowing Seeds of Hope event, by helping to facilitate food, drinks, sponsorships, guest speaking, and live music.

I am deeply committed to creating a world where mental health is prioritized and where individuals feel empowered to seek help without stigma. My experience with the SAM Foundation has strengthened my desire to advocate for mental health on a larger scale and to continue making a positive difference in people's lives.
